Bryan & Tom are gettin’ hitched!

We’ll be updating this website as the date approaches, so check back occasionally.

The Basics

Our hope is to host a fun, lighthearted, casual celebration.

No ceremony, all party, so ditch the tuxedos and gowns for some comfortable clothes, a swimsuit, and your dancin’ shoes!

The main event — a gathering for food and merriment — will be on Saturday evening at our home (and 4-acre chicken farm).

Schedule

Friday 6/19 | 3 pm – sunset

Games and pizza in the park

Fort Missoula Regional Park, Meadowlark Shelter.

There’ll be volleyball, lawn games, board games, pizza, and beverages.

Join for 10 minutes or the whole dang thing!

You’ll most likely find Tom and Bryan on the volleyball court.

Dress code is super casual: comfortable clothes to play and move around in.

Saturday 6/20 | 4 – 9 pm

Main event

Our house, 6650 Gharrett St

4 – 5:30: happy hour with cocktails & snacks

5:30 – 7: dinner – pig roast!

7 – 7:45: speeches/toasts/roasts

7:45 – 9: music and merriment

Afterparty downtown, starting at The Union

Dress code is fun, festive, and casual. Think rompers, sundresses, jeans, colorful prints, and that one party shirt you don’t get to wear often enough.

Sunday 6/21 | 11 am – 2 pm

Float the Clark Fork River!

More details to come, but we’ll have a bus and tubes reserved.

Price will be $10 – 25 per person depending on how big our group is.

Other things to do while you’re here

  • Zootown Music Festival, featuring the Chicks, the Lumineers, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and many more. The headliners came on around 9 pm last year.
  • Missoula Pride, happening all weekend.
  • Endless hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities in all directions.
  • Glacier National Park, about 2.5 hours north of Missoula.

Travel

Flying into Missoula (MSO) is a breeze.

Ground transportation options from the airport include a rental car center on site, a free public bus, and a reservable shuttle. Uber and Lyft are also available, though drivers can be limited after about 11 pm.

If you don’t want to fly, there are some cool rail options that serve towns near Glacier National Park (north of Missoula).

We have two blocks of six rooms each at the Days Inn (1 king, reservation # 5136B582764107) and Comfort Inn (2 queens, 22128220) for about $300/night (6/19 and 6/20). Lodging is really expensive this weekend because of the music festival and summertime tourism. Sorry!!

You’re also welcome to camp on our property. Reach out to us to coordinate if you’re interested.

FAQs

When is the ceremony?

There isn’t one! We’re doing the boring, official stuff beforehand, so all you have to worry about is celebrating.

What will the weather be like?

June weather is extremely variable here, but you can generally expect highs around 75, lows around 50, and a decent chance of light showers at any given time. Pack layers!

Will there be parking available at your house?

Yes! We have a big field that’ll serve as our parking lot for the day.

Gifts?

We’re fortunate to have what we need. Your time and money spent coming to Missoula is gift enough 🙂
